John Guest | Connection Guide

John Guest is a world leading manufacturer of push-fit fittings, tubing and other fluid control products. John Guest fittings can be used in a variety of industries including plumbing, drinks vending and dispensing, automotive, pneumatics, compressed air, telecommunications and water purification.

How to install John Guest Fittings

To make a connection the tube is simply pushed in by hand. The John Guest collet locking system holds the tube firmly in place without deforming it or restricting flow.

1. Cut the tube square, remove burrs and sharp edges

2. Push the tube into the fitting to the tube stop

3. Pull on the tube to check it is secure.

4. Test the system before use.

5. To disconnect, push the collet square against the fitting. With the collet held in this position the tube can be removed.

6. Ensure the system is depressurised before disconnecting.
