Butterfly Valves
Butterfly valves are quarter turn valves used to regulate flow. A metal disc in the body of the valve is positioned perpendicular to the flow in the closed position. To open the valve in a fully opened position the valve can be rotated one quarter turn to be parallel to the flow.
