Original Geka Quick Couplings | Connection Guide

GEKA® Hose fittings are renowned to be the best type hose coupling. They can be used for commercial, agriculture and domestic purposes. GEKA fittings work by pushing two fittings together and twisting to lock together tight, with a seal to prevent any leaks or water waste.

GEKA® plus quick couplers connect water hoses from G 3/8” up to G 1 1/2”. Threaded items are available in all thread sizes from 1/4 (internal and external thread) up to 1 ½”.

How to install GEKA Hose Fittings

GEKA® Hose Fittings use a universal connection enabling connections to a massive range of accessories.

1. To combine two claw lock connectors, push the rubber seals of the couplings together with the claws pointing in opposite directions.

2. Twist the couplings in opposite directions so that the claws are now touching.

The connectors brass exterior will prevent rush which provides superior durability and protection for the fitting.

Points to consider

  • GEKA® plus gives more than 100% higher pressure range with safety reserve in comparison to standard claw couplings.
    • Operating Pressure up to 40 bar with NBR shaped sealing ring 300C or 300D; up to 30 bar with EPDM or FKM shaped sealing ring 300EPDM or 300V.
    • Burst pressure up to 80 bar  with NBR shaped sealing ring 300C or 300D; up to 60 bar with EPDM or FKM shaped sealing ring 300EPDM or 300V.
    • GEKA® quick couplings can be used in certain pressure ranges only and can achieve up to 80 bar.
  • GEKA® plus has a temperature range from - 40 degrees C to 100 degrees C when used with NBR shaped sealing ring 300C or 300D; - 50 degrees C to 150 degrees C when used with EPDM shaped sealing ring 300 EPDM; - 25 degrees C to 200 degrees C when used with FKM (Fluororubber) shaped sealing ring 300V.
